Deep transverse metatarsal ligament

The transverse metatarsal ligament can be divided into two parts; deep and superficial ligaments
・Attachment:
	Heads of the first through Fifth metatarsal bones
・Function:
	It connects the distal ends of the all metatarsal bones together.
	Unlike the transverse metacarpal ligaments, it connects the metatarsal bone of the hallux.
