Privacy Policy

teamLabBody Inc. (the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") shall establish a framework to protect personal information, personal identity numbers, and specified personal data (collectively, "Personal Data") and shall promote the protection of information related to personal data as set forth below.

The Company shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and any other relevant laws and guidelines in relation to the Act. In addition, the Company shall develop this privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy") and "teamLabBody's Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data" (the "Company's Regulations") and shall ensure such implementation of the Privacy Policy and the Company's Regulations.

The Company shall acquire Personal Data through appropriate methods and shall use such information according to the purpose as set out below.

●Purpose of use of personal data

・　to undertake the Company's software development business in order to ship, contact/report, and provide relevant after sales services of products;
・　to provide services through applications operated by the Company;
・　to use for marketing-related activities;
・　to manage any queries, consultations and complaints; and
・　to inform and notify you of services provided by the Company, to grant coupons, and to distribute advertisements.

●The purpose of use for personal identity numbers and other specified personal data

The Company shall give due notice to a person with respect to the purpose of use for personal identity number and specified personal data and shall use such information only within the scope of purpose of use and within the range as specified by law unless otherwise prescribed by law.

Provision of personal data to a third party
The Company shall not disclose and/or provide personal data to a third party unless otherwise prescribed by law and the case when we outsource the delivery of our advertisements to the third-party distributor (AppsFlyer Ltd.) to the email addresses collected when using the services we provide.

Shared use
The following personal data obtained shall be shared among the Company and its group companies listed below (collectively referred to as the "Group Companies") to the extent necessary to achieve the "2. Purpose of use".

The person responsible for the management of personal data within the Group Companies is teamLabBody, Inc. (address: 2–12 Ogawamachi, Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daisuke Sakai).

●Types of personal data that is expected to be shared with the Group Companies are as follows
name, address, office or school information such as the name of the company or school, telephone number, email address, and any other personal information obtained to carry out the Group Companies' business.

●The foregoing data will be shared among the following companies within the Group Companies
teamLab Inc.
Any other companies that have a direct or indirect relationship of capital with the Company such as a subsidiary company of the foregoing.

The Company may collect information related to personal data and any other relevant information including information on devices, logs, cookies and IP addresses, among others. The Company shall not disclose or provide information related to personal data to any third party who are expected to obtain such data as personal data without obtaining consent from the individual concerned unless otherwise required by law.

・Google Analytics
The Company's website uses an access analytics tool created by Google, "Google Analytics". Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data (such as data related to visits to the Company’s website, membership ID, the number of visits and browsing history). The traffic data is collected anonymously and does not contain information that can be used to identify specific individuals. The Information collected by Google Analytics is transferred to servers installed by Google, and the Company may use such information in combination with Personal Data held by the Company for the “purpose of use” stated above. The Company’s website may activate the following Google Analytic Advertising Features and use cookies:
Google Analytics remarketing;
Google Display Network Impression Reporting;
Google Analytics reporting on user categories such as demographics and interests; and
Integrated services that require Google Analytics for the collection of data for the purpose of placing advertisements.
The Company may also use a combination of first party cookies, such as Google Analytics, and third party cookies for advertising and analysis in relation to the Company’s website.
You may disable the use of your data by Google Analytics by downloading and installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en) and changing the add-on setting of your web browser. If you disable the use of data by Google Analytics, the use of data by Google Analytics will also be disabled for all websites, including the Company’s website; however, you may reactivate the use of data by Google Analytics by resetting the add-on setting for your web browser.

The Company shall manage Personal Data appropriately and strictly as set forth below.

The Company established a basic policy in compliance with relevant laws, regulations and guidelines in order to ensure the proper treatment of personal data.

●Technical safety management measures

The Company controls access to personal data, records and analyzes access logs, takes measures against computer viruses and malicious software, and implements appropriate network management, among other things.

●Organizational safety management measures/human safety management measures

The Company implements relevant supervision including ensuring that its employees are trained with its internal rules and regulations in order to prevent any divulgence, among others, or inappropriate use of personal data by its employees.

●Physical security management measures

The Company implements relevant physical protection measures to manage its facilities, monitors access to facilities and/or rooms, and maintains surveillance, among others, of the keys that provides access to the foregoing facilities and/or rooms in order to prevent any divulgence, etc. of personal data.

If you wish to make a complaint or request disclosure of your personal data, among others (a notice for purpose of use, disclosure (including disclosure of records provided to third parties), make corrections, add/delete, or suspend use of such data, etc.) by virtue of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, please contact us at the address listed in the "8. The Company intends to regularly carry out audits for the Company's system to protect personal data. In addition, the Company shall have a comprehensive understanding of the changes in respect to the Company's business operations, social conditions, advances in information technologies, among other things. The Company is further committed to reviewing and improving its system on protecting Personal Data including this Privacy Policy and the Company's Regulations from time to time.
